Tomato Chutney

Spicy condiment to go along with rice or roti. This tomato relish has just 3 ingredients fried on high flame, mashed to get a thick sauce and tempered for the finishing touch. This Chutney can be preserved in fridge for a week or two, also can be had cold.

Ingredients:
2/3 big Tomatoes
4 Garlic pods
4 Green chillies
2 tablespoon Oil
1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
Salt per taste
Method:
Fry the tomatoes along with garlic halves and green chillies on high flame so they get roasted as well
Keep aside and let it cool
Blend the ingredients in a blender, you can grind as well if you need smooth paste like consistency, I prefer to blend so it is not saucy
Prepare the tadka in a pan with curry leaves, mustard seeds in oil
When spluttering add the blended tomato mixture into it and add salt
Let it boil for 2 mins and enjoy your Tomato Chutney 😊
